What is Image Background Remover and Why Use It?
This clears a flat background from an image using a colour key, the technique behind green screens. The colour of the top-left pixel is taken as the reference and every pixel within your chosen distance of it becomes fully transparent, with a tolerance control to widen or tighten that match. It is built for product shots, logos and icons photographed or exported against an even backdrop, and it is worth being direct about what it is not: there is no subject-detection model here and nothing is downloaded to run it, so it will not cut a person out of a photographed scene. Because the reference is the corner pixel, an image whose corner is part of the subject keys the wrong colour. Edges come out hard with no feathering, and areas of the subject sharing the background colour disappear too. Save as PNG, since JPEG has no transparency.

Important Considerations
