Sometimes only part of a document should be shared — one signed page from a contract, a single chapter from a manual, the pages of a statement that are actually relevant. This reads a PDF's page count automatically and lets you either extract a range as one new file or break the document into one file per page, delivered as a ZIP. Your original is never modified; you always receive new documents, so there is nothing to undo if you pick the wrong range. Page numbers are 1-based and must fall inside the document, and out-of-range values are rejected outright rather than quietly clamped to the nearest valid page, which prevents you walking away with a file that is not what you asked for. Password-protected PDFs need unlocking first. As with the merger, the work happens locally and the file is not uploaded.
